It lifts us out of a narrow and painful sense of lack and selfishness into the broader perspective of the Buddhas and their abundance. Giving itself is an expression of love and wisdom in action. It reflects the mutual connection between all of us and connects us to all living beings.<\/p>\n
In the Buddhist tradition, teachers offer their teachings to the community of students who support them in return. In this way, mutual giving and generosity are sustained.
